WHAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT PYRAMID GIZA

The famous Great Pyramid of Giza is known for its 42-story-building height and its perfect shape. But not many people are aware it used to be called "Ta Khut", meaning "the light", because for hundreds of miles you can see it as a gleaming light. It's all because the pyramid used to be covered by blocks of pure white limestome that made it shine like a bright white light under the sun.

But in 1356, series of great earthquakes in Egypt shook the pyramid so hard the limestomes came off and fell to the ground. And after the earthquake, they decided to rebuild Eypt using the limestones for building mosques and palaces, stripping Giza pyramid of whatever was left on there.
