Obama has a historic record of flying presidential plane Air Force One almost everyday (a $182,000 per hour cost to taxpayers money not including other expenses like his entourage, Marine One, several hotel floors accomodation, etc.). He is definitely the flying president with restless-leg-syndrome who can't stay put in the oval office but always off somewhere. It would be interesting to check if there are cobwebs around the oval office as a result of Obama's absentee working attitude, a usual trait from him when he was still part of Illinois Senate.
But the title the "flying president" cannot only be applied on his penchant for flying, but also on the fact that for some reason Obama attracts house flies. An article today by Raf Sanchez from UK Telegraph entitled "Barack Obama provides landing pad for fly" showed Obama's face being chased again by a housefly. In a 2009 interview after he was sworn in, Obama swatted a fly that was relentlessly circling around him. When he announced the 2010 Obamacare, there was another fly incident. At one time, he was swarmed also at the podium by flies. And today, during his five-minute announcement about the latest addition to his administration, a fly landed on his forehead again.
The question is....why? What is it on Obama's face that made him irrisitible to house flies? Any answer from his Hollywood buddies and the Obama fawning media? Dr. Oz, any answer on this?
